In pickup sports, "I've got next" is a declaration. It's how you stake your claim, assert your readiness, and get in the game. SHE'S GOT NEXT transforms that declaration into a collective call to action — an invitation, a promise, and a statement of support for all women to take their shot. When a woman is ready to step up, she has an army of women behind her — making sure SHE'S GOT NEXT.

We're all here because someone opened a door for us. Now it's our turn.

Who we are?

SHE'S GOT NEXT is a non-profit community of Canadian women who've gone from standouts in sport to leaders off the court — and we're not done yet. Through visibility, funding, and connection, we're opening doors for each other and the next generation. Athletes are at our core, and our Ellevators make us stronger.

This is a community of powerhouse women who show up for each other and for the next generation — because a stronger future for women in sport is better for all of us.

Because what we can accomplish together is greater than anything we can achieve alone. Whether sport shaped you or you're here to champion the women it shapes, you're in the right place. We're all here to give back, open doors, and make the path easier for the next generation of Canadian women in sport and leadership.

Women who played sports report higher salaries, stronger leadership, and greater success. Businesses perform better with women in leadership. And girls who see women celebrated in sport grow up knowing anything is possible. We're here to make that the norm, not the exception.

What We Offer

• Funding. We direct attention and dollars where they matter most — to the leagues, programs, and athletes building the future of women's sport in Canada.
• Introductions. We connect our members to each other and to opportunities — the kind that open careers, build legacies, and change trajectories.
• Games Over Galas. It's our tagline and our ethos. It's a commitment to investing our attention, our energy, and yes, our money into the leagues and athletes building the future of sport. Because the truth is, the connections and conversations are better at games. We can be ourselves, share the moment, and directly support women while we're at it. 

Who can join?

Women come through the front door as Athlete Members or Ellevator Members, but once we're in, we're in it together — as Canadians.

Athletes competed in women's sports at the college, university, national, professional, Olympic, or Paralympic level. Whether you're still playing or long retired, once an athlete, always an athlete. We have a place for you.

Ellevators are professional women who didn't compete at an elite level but are deeply invested in seeing women succeed — in sport, in leadership, and in life. Ellevators join with a referral from a current SGN member.

We keep our membership fees low on purpose. We're here to create a community of women who are genuinely invested, not to build vanity metrics. And one third of all membership fees go directly to elite amateur athletics through scholarships and program funding — so when you join, you're actively funding the next generation.
